♥ Sand Ceremony ♥

The sand ceremony represents leaving behind two separate lives and to begin a life together. The separate lives are symbolized by two glasses of sand of different colors. The couple places in one only glass the two different colors of sand, achieving the creation of a unique design and sharing this way their first experience as husband and wife. The new union is represented by the interlaced sand that was created by the couple.    

In the sand ceremony, family and friends can also participate, they are given sand of different colors, with the purpose of adding to the couple´s sand and this way all will remain in a same container, this will make the sand even more colorful and it will achieve representing even more the symbol of their union. The container where the sand will be placed by the couple, is a beautiful and lasting memory of the day of their wedding, which can be placed in a special place of their house.
